Playground Fencing
Playground systems are usually required to keep younger children contained within the play area and to keep dogs out of it, thereby keeping it relatively safe and clean. The system must also achieve these aims safely and not offer finger traps or sharp edges to small children. Colour is usually an important item as the area should be seen as one that is bright, fun, and attractive for kids.
Steel railing systems are by far the most commonly used form of playground fence with the bow top version being popular because of its safe hooped top appearance (no upward protruding spikes).
The fastest growing type of playground railing is 'TangoRail' because as well as fulfilling all the safety performance criteria it is much more easily produced in multi colour than other railing types. This allows the playground designer to run riot with colour and imagination without breaking the bank on cost.
