If I choose absorptive acoustic fencing how many decibels will this reduce the noise pollution by?
The absorptive acoustic fencing has been tested to reduce noise pollution but every site is different. Upon a site visit we can provide guidance in specifying a fence height that will be suitable in absorbing noise pollution.
Can Darfen arrange for a sound engineer or acoustician to visit my site?
No, but Darfen can recommend a qualified sound engineer or acoustician to give you advice.
Is normal timber fencing an effective sound barrier?
Acoustic fencing is especially manufactured to help reflect or absorb sound and although it looks like traditional timber fencing, normal timber fencing will not be an effective sound barrier to reflect or absorb noise pollution.
Can acoustic fencing be supplied in any other colours?
Yes, we can also supply acoustic fencing in green or dark brown.
