Client Goals
The staff and students at Haringey Sixth Form College wanted to create an environment that provided inspiration, but equally required a secure perimeter solution to match the ecological building.
Darfen Solution
In the early stages of the development we worked directly with the Architects to provide a perimeter solution which not only fulfilled the schools obligation to have a secure perimeter but also provided good aesthetics which complemented the 21st century architecture.
The Pallas system was specified in white to mirror the clean modern lines of the building. The Pallas system benefits from good aesthetics but is also a robust welded mesh panel system.Two sliding Delta gates were also installed on site to help control vehicular access.
The overall installation of fencing, gates and access controls has ultimatley added to the state-of-the-art environment which aims to help students at Haringey excel in their studies. Darfen completed the project on schedule within just 6 weeks, just in-time for the new term which started in September.
