Darfen Solution
Choosing fencing products for use in residential areas is an important decision for any project manager as it is very easy to install unsightly fencing which may conflict with local planners. Our client had previously used the Triton fencing panels on another project, and not only did they feel that the Triton panels were good quality, but with the advice of Darfen, we agreed the Triton fencing system would be a suitable system to install in a residential area because of its good aesthetics. The Triton panels not only benefits from good aesthetics but also benefits from good through-visibility and robustness.
Over 450 metres of Triton fencing was installed by Darfen Scotland on-site at Deed Street. Two different heights of fencing was installed to accommodate the different levels of security required in different parts of the site. Darfen Scotland also installed a total of 22 self closing gates on-site so that the pedestrian traffic could be evened out.
Triton fencing panels are rapidly growing in use in the UK because of their good security performance. The panels are welded at every intersection and benefit from anti-tamper fixings as standard. The finished installation at Deed Street provided residents with a modern look whilst providing a medium security perimeter.
