Working to a specific budget the client required a high secure perimeter p[rotection solution that was nationally recognised within the utilities sector.
Darfen Solution
Darfen Major Projects offered a cost effective yet high secure solution to Longannet Power Station by recommending a chain link electric fencing system.
The installation which took place over 6 months was carried out in line with strict working conditions. As the site is situated next to hazardous areas such as the sea wall Darfen provided fully trained operatives to ensure that H & S was maintained to the highest standards on site.
The finished installation has provided Longannet Power Station with a secure boundary which is monitored by the Central Security Office via an integrated alarm & detection system. The fence design means that the client can easily interface the electric fencing with other security products in the future.
