Client Goals
Ravenscraig is a major regeneration project where the clients hoped to set the highest standard in urban design and architecture whilst also creating a welcoming, attractive, safe, accessible and pedestrian-friendly place.
Darfen Solution
Working to the design code guidelines which developers must adhere to on the Ravenscraig development Darfen provided the client with a fencing solution that not only benefited from good aesthetics but is also accessible with all gates being wheelchair friendly.
Ravenscraig will offer many local amenities on completion, including a brand new sports facility where Darfen installed one full size sports pitch and 6 multi-use-games-areas (MUGA's). The MUGA's benefit from Radius Corners which not only add to the design but are an additional feature to ensure player safety.
