Client Goals
When the Secretary of State for Defence announced that new homes were being built for soldiers Darfen were contacted by Bovis Lend Lease for a budget site hoarding solution.
Darfen Solution
With the first 60 houses expected to be ready for occupation by August 2011 the main contractor needed to get site set-up as soon as possible so construction could commence.
Bovis Lend Lease needed a fencing contractor that could not only supply a vast amount of timber hoarding, but a contractor that could also provide a speedy fencing installation service within a short time frame. 2400 metres of timber hoarding was specified.
The Darfen contracting team got underway installing the timber hoarding straight away and within 4 weeks the project was completed. To match the Bovis Lend Lease corporate identity the hoarding was painted in blue.
Choosing a timber hoarding product meant that the project would satisfy Bovis Lend Lease's budget.
