Equipment Installed
- security road blocker 3m wide by 500mm high
- automatic bollards
- timber post
- rail fencing with matching gates
Client Goals
Due to high levels of car crime and vandalism, Henley Golf and Country Club required increased security and access control measures to be installed, whilst respecting the rural surroundings.
Darfen Solution
The installation of a security road blocker 3m wide by 500mm high, automatic bollards, timber post and rail fencing with matching gates, took place over the festive season.
To achieve the design brief, all steelwork was provided in a polyester coated green finish and the adjacent boundaries secured with timber fencing.
The blocker can be operated via radio transmitters within the members cars, enabling the blocker to be opened and closed remotely. It is also possible to operate the blocker via a push button from the club house in case of an emergency. For added security the blocker has an integrated safety loop which prevents it from rising on any vehicle, but also prevents tailgating.

Customer Comment
Vandalism and car crime has been depleted at Henley Golf and Country Club since the installation of the fence and access control system.
